One Way, the construction and rail recruiter has warned that the industry could face a bigger skills crisis in 2017.

The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has revealed plans to boost the proportion of women in digital technology with £7m of investment to improve the talent pipeline.

The programme will aim to negate skewed perceptions of the sector, which can prevent women from choosing an engineering career, and ultimately contribute to the skills gap.
