Starting her own business in 1992, aged just 20, Kate is an entrepreneur who loves to help people build their careers and businesses – with particular expertise in turn-around projects, accelerated growth or start-ups of small to medium size enterprises.
She has extensive knowledge of the courier industry and associated fields plus has had personal interests in businesses as wide-ranging as event management and property development.
Kate’s worked in many sectors of the transport and logistics industry, from a Surrey-based 24-hour haulage operation, through to same day courier, internet fulfilment and logistical software provision.
In February 2015 Kate became a Fellow of the Institute of Couriers, awarded the House of Lords in recognition of her services to the industry. She won the First Women in Business Award for Entrepreneurship in 2015 and 2016 sees her winning – amongst others – the Ruban d’Honneur Award for Entrepreneurship at the European Business Awards.
When she is not busy helping Britain grow with one stop logistics – she writes books. She’s published two books so far – ‘Stop Reading Self Help Books’ and ‘JFDI’ – with the long awaited ‘Manicured Fist’ – her manual for smashing through the glass ceiling - due out in 2016.
Plus, she is the mother of two grown up kids, Chloe and Oscar, loving nothing better than cooking for family and friends from her seafront home in Brighton.
